Just walk a few kilometers from our hotel in Bellaria Igea Marina to reach the medieval village of Montebello, an enchanting tourist destination not only for the panoramic view from the hill and the architectural beauty of the castle , but above all for the mystery that hovers in this place.

Guendalina, daughter of the feudal lords of Montebello was born albino, the parents fearing this diversity, they did everything to keep it hidden by segregating it in the castle and even trying to dye her hair. Her candid white hair did not take the color of her tint, but she acquired an even more unusual bluish reflection, for this reason she was then nicknamed Azzurrina.
On 21 June 1375 the girl disappeared in the snow field of the fortress and was never found again. The ghost of Azzurrina seems to have continued to live in this castle, however, there are many things that make him think, from the footprints on the ceiling that are disappearing over time to the sound of his laments.
